An exhibit opening today at the Museum of Science and Industry explains the science behind spacesuit technology. It includes X-ray images of the suits — but no actual suits. They're too fragile to travel, so a replica is included instead. (An actual glove, boot and helmets are part of the display.) This Sun-Times graphic explains the technology that went into one suit:
